This page says what Core: Gym Club keeps about you, who else sees any of it, and why. Last changed 14 October 2026.
What you tell it and what you do in it: your name, age, height, weight, goal and plan; the meals you log; the workouts you finish; your weigh-ins; your training week and the programs you build. This is stored on your phone and on our servers so that it survives the app being deleted and follows you to a new phone.
If you sign in with Apple or Google we receive an identifier for your account from them and, if you share it, your email address. We use them only to recognise you. When you delete your account we also ask Apple to remove the app from your Sign in with Apple list.
With your permission the app reads from Apple Health: steps, flights climbed, walking, running and cycling distance, active and resting energy, exercise and stand minutes, your activity rings and workouts; heart rate, resting and walking heart rate, heart rate variability, VO2 max, respiratory rate and blood oxygen; sleep; weight, height, body fat, lean body mass and BMI; and the calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat and water logged in Health. Much of it comes from an Apple Watch, if you wear one. It is used to show your day and your progress, and it stays on your phone, with one exception: a weight read from Health is added to your weight history, which is stored as above.
The app writes to Health the meals you log (their calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat) and the workouts you finish, with the energy they took. Health data is never used for advertising, never shared with advertisers, and never sold.
A meal photo you take, or a food you describe in words, is sent to our servers and from there to Anthropic (the makers of Claude) to be read for the foods in it. When Claude cannot answer, it goes instead to AI models that Cloudflare runs for us (Meta's Llama, Mistral's and Google's Gemma models). We do not keep the photo or the words once they are read, and neither Anthropic nor Cloudflare trains its models on them. The photo itself stays on your phone.
When you scan a barcode, its number is looked up in Open Food Facts, a public food database, from our servers. Nothing about you is sent with it.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to know whether your subscription is active; it receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase history for this app.
If you allow tracking when asked, we may measure which of our ads brought you to the app. If you do not, we do not. Nothing you log in the app, and nothing from Apple Health, is used for advertising.
A note you send from Contact us or the support page is kept with the email address you give, so we can answer you.
Settings, Delete my data removes everything above from your phone and from our servers, including your account, and your other phones signed in to it let go of it too. Log out removes your plan and logs from this phone. Signed in, they stay in your account until you delete it; not signed in, they are removed from our servers too.
Use Contact us in the app's settings, or the form on the support page.
